Who We Are
Wings: Safe Housing & Support
Breaking Cycles. Building Futures.
Wings provides safe housing and support for women and children rebuilding after family violence. Based in Edmonton, we offer more than shelter, we create space for families to heal, grow, and move forward with stability and independence.
Our fully furnished homes offer the safety families need, while our trauma-informed approach surrounds them with care. Through counselling, on-site childcare, child and youth programming, life skills development, and holistic supports, we walk alongside families as they rebuild their lives.
At Wings, we know that safety is just the first step. Lasting change takes time, trust, and the right support. We give women the space to process their experiences and the tools to regain confidence, build new skills, and create a future free from violence.
By supporting both mothers and children, we help break the cycle of violence and create lasting, intergenerational change.
Wings is more than a place to stay, it is a lifeline for a lifetime.
We are a non-profit organization rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that every family deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.
