We Are Every Woman. 

A woman being abused can come from any background. She is our neighbor, a newcomer settling in Canada, a university-educated teacher or a brand-new mom. Domestic abuse has no boundaries and can affect any person at any age. 

We Are Needed. 

Unfortunately, the need for WINGS is growing. Abuse victims continue to suffer unimaginable and increasingly horrific assaults. The trauma is deep and impacts both moms and kids in every way possible. 

We Are Transformational. 

WINGS provides a critical piece of the healing journey. Our wrap around service supports the whole person with kindness and empathy. We don’t just provide a safe place to sleep, we reduce suffering and empower women to recognize their trauma, begin to heal and start a new life. 

We Are Life Changing. Simply put, we reduce lethality for women and children living in domestic violence. Our life saving work has a ripple effect that will last generations by stopping the cycle of family violence and abuse. 

We Are WINGS. We Are Hope. We provide stability, structure and routine where there is none. We create healthy connections, a sense of belonging and community. We reduce suffering in children and support women to live the happy and safe life they deserve.
